Troubleshooting
Frequent tc-banana_defuse errors: missing ped, voice not muted, dead player, routing bucket.
#The ped does not appear
- Outside Vision: the ped is a local ped created at
Config.Npc.coords. Check the coordinates on your map (sample values are at Legion Square) and theConfig.Npc.modelmodel. - Vision: the ped is handled by staff management (management menu → “Banana Bomb” interactions);
Config.Npc.coordsis only used on first start. - Check that
tc-uiandox_libare started.
#The script does not start
ox_lib is imported by the manifest (@ox_lib/init.lua) and tc-ui is a dependency: start them first. See Common troubleshooting.
#The deaf player still hears the others / the mute player is heard
Voice muting uses MumbleSetVolumeOverrideByServerId. A Mumble-based voice resource (pma-voice…) is required. Check Config.Voice.enabled = true. Another script that continuously rewrites volumes may conflict.
#The radio or phone stay active
Config.BlockComms = trueandConfig.Integrations.pmavoice/lbphoneset totrue.- The radio cut during the game must be switched back on afterwards.
- For a phone or radio other than lb-phone / pma-voice there is no integration: only these are handled.
#The bomb is misplaced or the chairs face away from the table
- Adjust
Config.Arenas[n].bombandheading, or place it in game with/banana arene [n]. - If the chairs face away from the table:
Config.Table.chairHeadingOffsetto0.0or180.0. - No table / chair model available in the game: the next one in the list is tried.
#Two games interfere
Each arena has its own routing bucket (Config.BucketBase + arena number, i.e. 7300 by default). If another script uses these numbers, change Config.BucketBase. OneSync is recommended.
#A player dead before the game
They are revived through the framework's ambulance event (Bridge.revive, in bridge/client.lua). If your medical script is different, adapt this bridge function.
#A player is put back on their own
They strayed more than Config.LeashDistance (25 m) from the bomb. Raise it if needed.
#The detonation does not “really” explode
That is intended: a local screen effect (Config.BoomScreenEffect), not a real explosion, to stay compatible with anti-cheats that block client explosions.
#/banana stop or /banana arene refused
You must be staff: a permission from Config.Permissions (Vision), or ACE command / Config.Bridge.Admins elsewhere.
