Workshop flow

From customer to invoice: order, take-over, fitting, diagnostics, billing and follow-up.

#Overview

  1. The customer places an order (live preview, price calculated by the server).
  2. A mechanic takes over the order from the tablet.
  3. They carry out each step on the vehicle.
  4. They invoice; the customer pays.
  5. The order is closed and the vehicle changes are saved permanently.

#1. Customer order

Behind the wheel on a customer point, the player sees a live preview with an orbital camera, then a summary, then confirms. The displayed price is recalculated by the server from the registered vehicle.

#2. Tablet (/atelier)

Dashboard, filterable orders, detail with quote and steps.

#3. Carrying out a step

After taking over, click Carry out on a step:

  1. A GPS guides to the point.
  2. The part is picked from stock (carried in hand).
  3. It is fitted from the blue circle on the ground, placed next to the element: in front for the engine, behind for the boot, on the side for doors and wheels.
  4. Animation, then mini-game and/or progress bar depending on settings.

Each type of work has its own animation family (engine under the bonnet, bodywork with welding or mallet, underside kneeling, windows with a sponge, lighting, interior, small parts, pick-up, shaken then sprayed paint can, female variants). A variant is picked at random for each action; all are base-game animations.

#4. Paint

Spray gun in hand, hold left click while aiming at the vehicle: the colour is deposited progressively.

#5. Wheels

One step per wheel; the final fitting is applied once all wheels are fitted.

#6. Diagnostics

Diagnostic tab → analysis (damage + component wear, prices calculated automatically) → tick items → choose the customer → the customer accepts or refuses in their window. A quote with no answer expires (adjustable in the General tab).

#7. Billing

Order finished → Invoice → the customer pays → deposit into the job account → closure. Details: Billing.

#8. Customer follow-up

Coming back to the order point with the vehicle, the customer sees progress, can cancel as long as nothing has started, and can reopen a quote or invoice closed by mistake.

Cancellation

Cancelling an order that has already started restores the vehicle to its original state.

#Follow-up and journal

The steps of an order are tracked one by one, and every action (order, vehicle, management, security) is written to the journal, visible in the Journal & status tab of the management panel.
